Unaccompanied Minor (or shortened UM) are children aged 5 to 14 years old, who travel alone unaccompanied by an adult.
Unaccompanied minor must have all the necessary documentation for the flight (airline ticket, passport, visa, if required, a completed form, so-called. After flight, a child leaves the aircraft, and a cabin crew from the plane sending a child to a flight attendant, who works at the airports destination, which is obliged to escort and handed a person whose data are listed in the Instruction for the transport of unaccompanied minor. A person who accepts the child must be identified and sign the Instruction for the transportation of unaccompanied minor.
Some low-cost airlines do not provide a transport service of unaccompanied minor, for that reason, we encourage you to inquire about this opportunity with a chosen airline or at an airport from which you are travelling.
